NHS Listening Circles – Workforce Barriers to Leadership Project

Staff from NW London ICS are invited to take part in a Listening Circle or complete a survey as part of the Workforce Barriers to Leadership project. Its purpose is to delve into the challenges faced by ethnic minorities in leadership roles within the North West London Integrated Care System (ICS). This effort parallels the primary mission of the NW London Race Equality Steering Group which seeks to grasp these obstacles throughout the ICS.

What will the Listening Circles be like?

The Listening Circles, facilitated by our external partner, Turning Tables, aim to create a safe environment where participants can share personal experiences and reflections on leadership barriers.

The format is as follows:

• Maximum of 10 participants per session  
• 1-hour long
• Neutral facilitator leading the session asking key questions as prompts
• Contracting to take place at the beginning to ensure confidentiality and create the physiological safety required for such interventions
• Reflection at the end

Across all listening circles, only themes and no specific identifiable data will be shared

How do I sign up?

You can sign up via Zoom using the links in the schedule table. Please click on the link for the session you want to sign up for and it will redirect you to a registration page.

Sessions are on a first come first serve basis and a Zoom link will be sent to you once you register.

Please note, you are only required to attend one session.
