Climate change is a health emergency and medicines account for 25% of emissions within the NHS. Medicines sustainability resources have been developed in partnership with our clinical experts for use by health professionals and clinical teams in NHS North West London to help support delivering a ‘Net Zero’ NHS.

The inhaler disposal toolkit includes resources for health care professionals to encourage patients to return their used or unwanted inhalers to their community pharmacy for safe disposal. A brief animated video is available here to explain the benefits of choosing a more environmentally friendly inhaler. |
