30 June stop date for Covid-19 Spring Booster and Primary course of Covid Vaccinations
FRIDAY 30TH JUNE: Last date for Spring Booster, First and Second doses of the vaccine.
After this date, only eligible groups (children aged 6months to 4years with certain medical conditions) will be able to get a vaccine.
Children aged 6 months to 4 years invited for Covid-19 vaccinations.
A Covid-19 vaccination letter has gone out from UKHSA to parents and guardians of children aged 6months to 4 years identified as having an increased risk from COVID-19.
The letter advises children from this cohort should be offered two smaller doses of the vaccine, at least 8 weeks apart.
There is no action required for GP staff, however practices listed as a local booking option may see an increase calls requesting a vaccination.

June 2023 - UKHSA have sent out invite letters to parents of 6mth to 4year olds to advise them to get vaccinations for their children to provide longer protection.
