Ask About Asthma Awareness week - London’s #AskAboutAsthma campaign returns in September for its seventh year to raise awareness around childhood asthma and how to manage it.#AskAboutAsthma highlights the simple changes to children and young people’s care that will make a big difference to how they experience their asthma. Breast screening awareness - encourage screening uptake, if you recieve an NHS breast screening invitation, please respond as soon as possible, screening saves lives. |

Bowel cancer awareness - encourage screening, cancer won't wait, early detection makes it easier to treat. |

Cancer won't wait - don't delay getting checked out, if you are invited for screening or have a health concern speak to your GP or arrange an appointment. |

Heart Failure Awareness campaign - aim of the campaign is to increase awareness of heart failure symptoms and encourage people to speak to their GP. Key message is the earlier treatment starts the better the outcomes. |

Industrial action - Junior doctors will be on strike from 11 - 15 April. This toolkit includes a press release, social media resources, a GP screen and screensaver for staff for use by local authorities, trusts, health organisations and community groups and more. |
