NHS North West London is on a mission to transform healthcare, and we need your help! We are actively seeking passionate volunteers to provide a resident voice on our dynamic programme group for long-term conditions. We are specifically seeking people with lived experience of managing a long term condition (or caring for someone with a long term condition). This is your chance to make a real difference in your community and help shape the future of healthcare.
These exciting roles are open to residents of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kensington and Chelsea & Westminster, aged 18 and above. If you have lived experience of, or are at risk of, long-term conditions, or if you are a carer willing to share your experiences, we want to hear from you! Your insights will be invaluable in improving patient outcomes and reducing health inequalities.
The role lasts for 12 months, subject to a six-month review. The closing date for applicants is 04 April 2025.
Rory Hegarty, Director of Communications and Involvement at NHS North West London, said, "We are committed to involving our local communities in shaping the future of healthcare. By sharing their experiences and insights, our volunteer representatives will play a crucial role in improving patient outcomes and working to reduce health inequalities."
