The NHS recognises the importance of the publication of the Grenfell Independent Inquiry report on those affected by the fire and the possible impact on your health and wellbeing.
Rob Hurd, Chief Executive Officer at NHS North West London said: “We know that survivors, bereaved and the wider community have been waiting for the publication of the report and we recognise its importance within the NHS. We understand the upset this will cause and for many it will bring back memories and horror of the night of the fire. We want to provide reassurance that the NHS will be here for you now and in the future.”
Dr Andrew Steeden Clinical Lead for North Kensington added: “There are a range of services and support available and at the request of local community, NHS North West London has worked with our partners to put in place arrangements for a place for quiet space and reflection that they can visit and get support from their own community.”
All those who feel they need that little extra support are encouraged to speak to their GP or contact the Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service on 020 8637 6279 from 8am to 8pm Monday-Thursday and 8am to 5pm on Friday. More information, including an option to self-refer online, can be found on their website: www.grenfellwellbeing.com
