We are the North-west London Integrated Skills & Talent Hub – For Health, Social & Primary Care. We have been appointed the North-west London international recruitment Sub-regional partner by the Lead Regional Local Authority to deliver redeployment support by finding alternative social care employment for the many displaced international social care workers affected by the UK Visas and Immigration’s revocation of social care provider’s sponsorship licenses across the country.

The North West London Boroughs we cover with the support of the Local Authorities' Adult Social Care Leads are:

Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Westminster, and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Our aim is to support overseas recruits who have been displaced by unethical practices or by their employer’s sponsorship licence being revoked. We will strengthen ethical practices in international recruitment and the employment of staff working in adult social care as well as develop shared solutions to prevent and respond to exploitative employment issues.

We will be supporting the Displaced Care Workers by signposting information to job-match employment opportunities in North West London.

We aim to assist the Displaced International Recruits within a timely manner, as we are aware of time sensitivity from notice period received.

Natalie Ibrahim - NW London Workforce Programme Lead ICB People Programmes

My name is Natalie Ibrahim and I am delighted to be the North West London Workforce Programme Lead ICB People Programmes. This is my 10th year in the NHS. I started as a band 5 Temporary Staffing and Recruitment officer at Torbay Hospital and have since spent my 10 years working with transactional HR services and Operational resourcing. I have worked in both acute and community trusts and it is no surprise to note that the issues around staffing and available skilled workers is the same regardless of location. This programme of work enables me to stretch that experience now across health, social care and primary care. I love being more involved at a system wide level and feel exceptionally proud to support a team that are truly making a difference across our local population.

I joined the NHS in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic efforts and have served our service users and stakeholders in various capacities with passionate enthusiasm since then.

Before the NHS, I held different positions in clinical data analysis and managed access programmes with renowned pharmaceutical organisations.

As part of a workforce that is commitment to improving the experience of our local communities through innovative healthcare solutions and services, I relish the unique opportunity to contribute impactfully to a mission that matters, by improving care outcomes and leveraging technology to make patient-centred care, recruiting and education widely accessible and effective.
