On Monday 18 November 2024, more than 200 people from across NW London gathered in St Mary's Church, Bryanston Square, for the Health Equity Summit. Two years on from the launch of the region’s inequality strategy, the event provided an opportunity to reflect on what had been achieved and discuss the challenges ahead.
This year’s focus was Empowering Communities for More Equitable Health Outcomes. The summit brought together leaders from a wide range of organisations and communities to discuss and raise our health equity ambitions even further and create the cross-system connections, that will make a real difference to residents in NW London.

The summit concluded with the presentation of the North West London Health Equity Awards. These awards celebrate people from across NW London who are making a difference by recognising and addressing the barriers that lead to inqualities and hinder fair access to healthcare.
We were thrilled by the incredible response, receiving 64 nominations filled with passion and kindness. It was inspiring to see so many people working and volunteering across NW London to improve the lives of others, as well as the ethusiasm from across the system to recognise and celebrate these efforts.
