Description - This series of workshops explores challenges faced by those working in deprived communities and focuses on practical ways to effect change.They provide a chance for participants to meet, share common challenges and perspectives, and focus on practical solutions that can be implemented at grass roots level.

The workshops cover a number of topics and themes, delivered across the year and include:

  • The power of consultations: the impact of empathy
  • Access and candidacy: literacy and digital exclusion 
  • Promoting continuity: the value of narrative
  • Financial wellbeing: social capital and resilience

Description - This self-directed modular training package supports development of core business skills and covers key areas such as teamwork, problem solving, time management, presentation skills, numeracy, writing skills, customer awareness and leadership.

Description - This online learning resource supports managers and staff working in health and social care to be more knowledgeable about – and understand – the process of using and implementing quality improvement (QI) methodology. 

Who this is for - All existing and new starter ICS colleagues who would like to develop skills and knowledge in quality improvement (QI) methodologies. These resources are aimed at social care staff, bu the content is transferable across health and care sectors.

Description - Information, data and perspective cases relating to young people and health equity. This charity also provides training, with a focus on facilitation skills and approaches to addressing young people’s health inequalities.

Who this is for - All existing and new starter ICS colleague who either work in children and young people's (CYP) services or have an interest/remit for engaging with younger people.
